She instructed officials not to keep any case pending unnecessarily and to ensure that all complaints are addressed in accordance with government guidelines.

More Than 40 Complaints Received

The senior officials heard grievances from more than 40 complainants, covering a wide range of issues. The major complaints related to:

  • Revenue and land disputes
  • Opening and restoration of village pathways (chak roads)
  • Issuance of Ayushman Bharat health cards
  • Various matters concerning different government departments

After reviewing the complaints, the Commissioner issued necessary directions to the concerned departments for their prompt and effective resolution.

Public Welfare a Top Administrative Priority

Addressing officials during the event, Durga Shakti Nagpal said that the swift resolution of public grievances remains one of the administration’s highest priorities.

She directed all departmental officers to conduct on-site verification of complaints and ensure that cases are resolved within the stipulated timeline. She also stressed the importance of informing complainants about the action taken on their grievances, thereby improving transparency and accountability in governance.

Focus on Rural Connectivity

The Commissioner paid special attention to issues related to village pathways and instructed revenue officials to expedite the measurement, restoration, and leveling of chak roads.

She said that maintaining smooth rural connectivity is essential for farmers and villagers and directed officials to remove encroachments from public pathways on a priority basis.

“Village roads and pathways must remain accessible to ensure that residents, particularly farmers, do not face inconvenience in transportation and agricultural activities,” she said.

Benefits of Government Schemes Must Reach Eligible Citizens

Nagpal also instructed officials to ensure that the benefits of government welfare schemes reach all eligible beneficiaries without delay. She warned that negligence in resolving public complaints or implementing welfare programs would not be tolerated.

The DIG also emphasized the importance of responsive administration and directed police and revenue officials to work in coordination to resolve issues affecting public welfare and law and order.

At the conclusion of the programme, detailed instructions were issued to all concerned departments to ensure the quality, transparency, and time-bound disposal of every complaint received during the Sampoorna Samadhan Diwas, in line with the state government’s citizen-centric governance objectives.
